Purge Soap Nuts | Organic Laundry Wash

$22.99

The Purge Ritual — Soap nuts have been used in Ayurvedic tradition for centuries. We sourced them because they are one of the simplest zero-waste laundry rituals there is, and they genuinely work.

The shell of the Sapindus mukorossi berry contains saponin, a natural cleanser that releases in water, lifts everyday dirt from fabric and rinses away cleanly. No residue. No fragrance.

Key Benefits

  • Saponin, a natural and biodegradable cleanser, works in cold and warm water
  • Fragrance-free and gentle, a considered choice for sensitive skin and baby laundry
  • Suitable for cloth nappies, with no residue
  • Compostable after use
  • Each nut is reusable for several loads; about 77 loads per 4oz bag

How to Use

Place 4–6 soap nuts in the unbleached muslin bag provided, tie it, and add it to the drum with your laundry. Wash as normal and expect few bubbles. Reuse the same nuts for several loads until they turn grey and soft, then compost them.
